What is a face lift?
The face is the area that shows the effect of age the most in people. Facial measurements, sagging in the face and neck, excess skin, forehead, lip corners and eye wrinkles are clear signs of aging. The most suitable surgical procedure to stop or slow down the aging process and achieve a youthful face is a facelift operation. In a facelift operation, the surgeon pulls the excess skin tightly to the sides of the face and cuts the excess skin to create a more youthful facial expression. There may also be numbness in the facial skin, which is quite normal. This numbness will pass within a few weeks.
